If you are looking to travel somewhere a little different, why not consider! our Nairobi to Cairo trip eight weeks Nile Trans from Nairobi June 5 I did this trip last year, the last stage of 42 weeks in Africa, and I can honestly say it was my favorite bit! The first 3 weeks in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda are the epitome of Africa - in charge of tribal villages, raging rivers, national parks, abundant and majestic mountain gorillas. Activities are numerous, and include history, adrenaline, wildlife and lots of fun.

The Rock churches of Lalibela, Ethiopia

Ethiopia
To the north, Ethiopia is the most wonderful place to visit and is full of breathtaking scenery, enchanting history, great food and affable inhabitants - nothing like the pictures of Ethiopia I grew up watching television in the 80 children Enthusiastic welcome you in the street, playful and eager to flaunt their English limit. The Tucker is tasty, unique and super cheap. And history lessons abound, wherever you go! This year we changed our route, so you not only have the chance to visit the Lalibela rock churches, ruins in Axum, monasteries on Lake Tana, castles in Gondar, Blue Nile Falls and the Simien mountains, but you also have the chance to explore the market in Jinka, visit the Omo valley and catch a glimpse of the tribes of the plate of the lip.

Pushing the truck through the desert, Sudan

S udan
further north Sudan is surprising - men dressed in white jalabiyas fluids are running through the streets of the bustling city, mosques decorated with twinkle third world villages and magnificent pyramids rest in peace in a quiet desert. The Arab influence appears, tourists disappear, and what you feel tickles your senses - it is really quite a treat

Egypt Karnak Temple, Egypt
and as for Egypt, well I'm sure you have already conjured images of the pyramids, temples, navigation feluccas on the Nile, and tales of a time long . Let me tell you it is everything you imagine and more! And following a few rocky years on the international radar, tourists are far and few, so that you will have a fantastic view of all the amazing sites offer!

This trip is an adventure land-based site with all transport on our custom built big yellow truck! It is hard sometimes, camping in the dust and the desert on the least road, "but it really is a fantastic adventure, so for those who are interested in the lesser known travel worlds, you will love this one! for more on this trip!
