We take all regional Explorer visits in Egypt from beginning [ofApril. No changes are made to the multi-country Overland Adventures traveling through Egypt and these are expected to leave as usual throughout February and March .
We have two departures of our 37 days Oasis Caravan of Cairo to Istanbul and our 21 days Oasis Nomad of of Cairo to Damascus in March. They will leave Cairo as planned on 7 and March 21 and will follow the usual route of Luxor, Aswan and Dahab . Our routes are flexible and if Changes may be made if necessary. The 21st March Oasis Caravan will arrive in Gallipoli Anzac Day and attend the Dawn Service.
One of our group is currently travel through Tunisia on 58 days Tunis to Istanbul travel by land. Our crew, Graham and Colin report that the trip is going well and group benefiting Tunisia . There some other tourists but they do not encounter problems and did not have to change their route.
Chris & Jackie Oasis and their two sons Ethan and Seth will be go to Egypt as expected in early April. This could be a fantastic time for travelers to visit the region after such dramatic events and in a historical change for the two countries. Our team on the ground tell us that there few tourists around so not only is it great for those wishing to visit the websites Egypt when it is quieter, but the local operators whose means livelihood depend on tourism will also benefit
