People, pork, punch and go! -

Clare & Steve (Dream Team) our team in Africa sent this update their Nile Trans Cape to Cairo trip

people make all the difference! Crew for us, we're lucky, we get to go to amazing places and see amazing things every day, the only thing that makes every trip is different than the people we spend our time. Yes, everyone wants to see African animals, meet the locals, photographing the landscape, lost in the markets, etc., but we all like to have a good time with our new friends as we do!

Our time in Zimbabwe was filled with amazing landscapes, animals galore, historic ruins and beautiful people. We had (Sexypants as we call it) Steve anniversary in Victoria Falls, which saw him dancing on top of the bar storm. I'm sure most of us also remember that night in almost too professional Antelope table dance Park & John!

Malawi, the warm heart of Africa, the host of the anniversary (Lady) and Catherine Oasis trucks Olympics Overland at Kande Beach. We roped in another dirt truck (literally during O'War tug) and had a wonderful day of fun on the shores of beautiful Lake Malawi. It could have been a glass or two involved and return to camp our good pig roasting (by the way - the best crackling EVER). Heather had a birthday two days more than 2 countries that started with a theme "bad taste" to Chitimba Beach ... .oh outfit!

Tanzania is of course the home of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and the spice island of Zanzibar. He keeps better and our tuk-tuk convoy for the ferry to Zanzibar was hilarious!

Kenya is bittersweet, however we have to say goodbye to some of our terrestrial group in Nairobi. This is the sad part of our job - we must say goodbye lot. Our new friends needed a good send though so we went to a nice restaurant for our last dinner together, had a champagne breakfast the next morning and topped it off with an invitation to the wedding of my friend who m ' saw meet the Vice President of Kenya! And for my birthday too! All the best to Phoebe, Areme, Catherine, Shoko, Phil & Jeanine - we'll see you on your next trip Oasis Overland

We are almost halfway through our journey from Cape city in Cairo together and we had a lot of laughs along the way. We had some new people to join us in Nairobi and they are part of the family already. Welcome Allan & Anna P.

Now it's time to head Uganda, one of my favorite countries. What can we get to the next
