Last month, Jackie Oasis met Mark Beaumont in Cairo at the beginning of his journey round the Cape and try to beat the world record. Incredibly, Mark arrived in Cape Town 41 days, 10 hours and 22 minutes after leaving Cairo, beating not only the world record, but breaking his own goal to complete the trip in 50 days.
We are really pleased to have helped Mark in the planning of parts of his journey that we made trips between Cairo and Cape for many years, following a similar way - but not as direct or fast
some stats Mark:
"I finished in 41 days 10 hours and 22 minutes, after cycling 6762 miles, spend 439 hours in the saddle, and climbing 10.355 feet across 8 countries. the previous world record was a little more than 59 days, but in truth, I was never the race everyone, he was always pushing my absolute best staff. in the last week by Botswana and South Africa, I threw caution to the wind, with an average of over 0 miles per day and riding up to 16 hours per day. the daily global average is 0 miles per day, which is difficult to go anywhere but through the roads and across the borders of Africa was amazing, by far the most difficult race of my life. "
(These statistics all be rechecked and verified by Guinness World Records)

Congratulations Mark on this amazing success
